Field barn and adjoining animal shelter. Dated 1819 on gable of
west porch. Random coursed rubble stone with stone slate roof.
Opposed central projecting cart entries, hipped to east with timber
lintel and double timber doors, 2-storey gabled to west with
renewed lintel and 2-light opening in gable, both with segmental
relieving arches on wall plane. On east side, 2 tiers of 2 slit
vents to left, round opening and blocked pitch hole to right.
Slit vents to north gable end, blocked pitch hole to south. Seven
bays, 2 collar beams to each truss, 2 purlins. West side has
corrugated lean-to to right of porch, stone lean-to to left with
stone slate roof, turning corner to 7-bay open animal shelter with
rubble stone tapering pillars and with bays 3 and 4 from west end
divided by wall from front to back.
