11/219 Knapp Farmhouse

GV II

Detached Farmhouse. Mid C17. Dressed stone walls. Thatch roof,
with stone gable-copings and moulded kneelers. Brick stacks at left hand
gable, left of centre, and right hand gable. l½ storeys. 3 windows,
2- and 3-light wooden casements with glazing-bars. 3 eyebrow dormers,
one at right hand, sashed. Canted bay window at right hand ground,
sash window with glazing-bars. Wooden cills. Front doorway, left of
centre, into cross-passage, straight-chamfered jambs with pyramid-
stops and depressed-arch head. Door with 2 glass lights. Interior:
deep-chamfered ceiling-beams. Plank-and-muntin screen.
