Cemetery Lodge gatepiers and gates. c1860. Yellow gault brick with stone
dressings and steeply pitched roofs of banded tiles. Chimney stack of three
diagonally set shafts. Asymmetrical plan with front to cemetery roadway.
Doorway in two centred arch with label. Gable end to right has pointed arches
to coupled windows above a bay with windows in similar arches. The piers are of
similar brick and stone and the gates are cast iron. Included for group value.
