House. Early C19 with earlier datestone inscribed:
"R E/1720". Stone with stone slate-roof. 2 storeys, 5 bays,
the 1st bay projects under gable. Wide eaves and verges.
Windows mostly sashed with glazing bars, but 1st bay of
ground floor has canted bay window and 4th bay of ground
floor has French window, both with casements of a type found
on Haigh Hall estate. Entrance has half-glazed door and
timber trellis porch. Gable-end and 2 left return lateral
stacks. Right return has C20 conservatory. Believed to have
been dower house. The datestone to gable to 1st bay must be
from another building.
