Farmhouse, mid C18 with C19 addition left. Coursed rubble, tiled roof with
gabled ends and brick stacks to ends of original range. Original range:
2 storeys and attic, 4 window range. 2-light wooden casements under
wooden lintels with horizontal glazing bars. 2 dormers having 3-light
casements with horizontal glazing bars. Gabled porch with studded plank
door, possibly reset. Rectangular fanlight over. C19 outshuts to rear.
Rear wing may be earlier than main range. "RCHM, Dorset, vol III",
p 268, no 17.
