12/278 Woodlands Cottage

GV II

Detached Cottage. c.Late C18. Dressed stone walls. Thatch roof,
hipped. 2 storeys. 2 windows, 3-light wooden casements,with
wooden cills and horizontal glazing-bars. One iron casement at
centre. Side range: 4 windows long, same type. Side door (main
entrance), plank with a thatch roof porch carried on 2 wooden posts
C20. Far left: garage entrance with a big wooden lintel over.
Attached to front of house: raised lias stone platform, from cottage
out to roadway.
