Farmhouse, c.1600, possibly in two stages. 2 storeys and attics. Timber-
framed and rendered. Concrete tiled roof; C17 chimneys of red brick at each
gable end. C19 3-light casements and 6-panelled entrance door with gabled
roofed open trellis porch. Good quality framing exposed internally; a gabled
staircase wing at centre rear with ovolo-mullioned window. A large, inserted,
ovolo-mullioned and transomed window in chamber over parlour, and a former
diamond-mullioned window (now blocked) in same room. Evidence for a former
large axial chimney (now gone). Clasped purlin roof. The mid C20 extensions
at the north end are not of special interest.
