The gateway leading into the garden from the street has its original brick
piers and engaged Ionic pilasters; an arch with shaped pediment was later
added in between. Adjoining the gateway on either side is a brick wall on
flint base; brick pilasters at intervals; brick dentilled course; brick coping.
Wall extends for a distance of about 15 ft north of the gateway, and for a
distance of about 70 ft southwards. Photograph in NMR.
