Lodge. c.1837, by P F Robinson. Ashlar stone walls with high chamfered
plinth and clasping corner buttresses carried up as ornamental castellated
turrets. Long, blind, sunk lancet motif with cross-loops at the corners.
Castellated parapet with string below this. Slate roofs. One stack projects
from north-east corner turret. Single storey to original part. One window
to each side of this cuboid, with big straight-chamfered jambs and separate
labels over. Each has a fixed cross-transom window with wooden framing. Rear
range, probably added late C19, rendered, low 2 storeys, sashes with glazing-
bars and stone cills.
