1837. Part of a planned group called "Portville", developed by Samuel Gundry
junior, one of the twine manufacturing dynasty. Stucco. Low pitched slate
roof, with wide eaves on cut brackets. 2 storeys. Giant Doric pilastrade
taking segmental relieving arches, in each of which is set 1 sash with glazing
bars on 1st floor, and 1 French casement below.

Nos 48 to 56 (even), The coachhouses and stables of Nos 48 to 56 the dwarf wall and
gates to the front gardens, of Nos 48 to 62, No 62, No 64 and No 64A form a group.
