House; C16, extended early C17. 1 1/2 storeys and attics. Timber-framed and
rendered. Pantiled roof with axial chimneys of red brick; gabled pantiled
dormer. C20 casements and boarded entrance door. C16 core probably of 3
cells, with inserted C17 chimney. Higher parlour wing added early C17 to right
hand end; a blocked diamond-mullioned window in chamber above. Clasped purlin
roof; that over the main range reuses rafters from a coupled-rafter roof,
perhaps the C16 roof of this house.
