2 houses. Circa 1863 by S.S. Teulon for Rev. Daniel Capper. Coursed, roughly-
squared sandstone rubble, with ashlar quoins and dressings; roof of blue-grey
slates with some green slates; stone and brick chimneys. One storey, 4 bays
and left pent, one-storey, one-bay extension. Boarded doors in 2-centred arches
in outer bays; 3-light windows in inner bays under gabled half-dormers; windows
in left house wood mullioned-and-transomed with glazing bars; right house has
C20 ground-floor casement and sash with vertical glazing bars in dormer.
Steeply-pitched roofs; tall chimney at centre front has banded shaft below tall
brick top section, with triangular protruding centre and top cornice. Left
extension obscured by greenhouse. Much original wrought iron door furniture.
