House, late C17 with mid C19 alterations. 2 storeys, timber-framed and rendered
with herringbone pargetting in panels. Plain tiled roof with axial chimneys of
red brick. C19 mullioned and transomed small-pane casements. C19 boarded and
battened entrance door with architrave and pediment. Many framing members are
re-used from a C16 building. The whole first floor was apparently built, late
C17, as one space; possibly this was a non-domestic outbuilding to Coldham
Hall, converted to cottages C19, converted to one house c.1970. Included for
group value.
