GV II

War Memorial. c1920. Stone with metal plaque. Square moulded and carved
tapering block on stepped plinth, in all c3.5m high. Carved relief of
St. George and the Dragon at summit with 'St. George and Merry England'
inscribed below. Metal plaque with names of fallen in First World War
and inscription also to those in Second World War.
