House, mid C18. 1 1/2 storeys and attics. Timber-framed and rendered.
Thatched gambrel roof with gabled thatched casement dormer; axial and gable
chimneys of red brick. Small-pane C20 casements. Boarded entrance door with
hipped thatched open porch on posts. The roof is constructed with rafters bent
to give the gambrel shape without the need for tying at the point where the
roof pitch changes. A flint-walled C19 section at the right-hand end.
