House, formerly farmhouse; C16, extended C18 and altered c.1970. 2 storeys.
Timber-framed and rendered. Thatched roof with axial chimney of red brick. C20
casements and entrance porch with pantiled roof and boarded door. A 2-cell
early C16 core at the south end, with simple crown-post roof, hipped over the
service end. The house extended by 3 bays northwards later in C16, with coupled
rafter roof and axial chimney. Wing added to east side C18. Formerly known as
Wash Farmhouse.
