Red-brick, 2 storeys and cellar, with stone band at 1st floor and decorative brick treatment to coped parapet. Slate roof. 5 windows to Calvert Street facade and 2 to Midland Place; modern casements in former sash spaces. Rounded corner with former shop front, wooden cornice, pilasters and corner entrance. Bricked-up doorway on Calvert Street with stone hood on brackets.
