Lodge to Marlesford Hall. Late C19/early C20. White brick, rusticated brick
quoins; thatched roof. Single storey. Picturesque style with 2 half-hipped
gables to north-west and one to south-east; south-west gable with oversailing
brickwork to lower part and crowstepped parapet (incomplete). Windows mainly
large mullion and transom casements with square leaded panes; to north-west is
a shallow square bay, roughcast render, wooden modillion cornice; doorway with
painted rusticated surround and 5 panel door. To south-east is a 3 bay flat-
roofed loggia on slender wooden supports with trelliswork surrounds. 3 stacks
each with modillion cornice.
