House. Dated R 0, remodelled 1840. Coursed, squared and dressed
large stone blocks; clay tile roof; brick integral end stacks.
Elements of Vernacular Revival and Tudor Gothic. 2 storeys and
half attic to centre; 3 bays, the central one gabled, 2-light
chamfer mullioned windows with returned dripstones containing picturesque
cast iron traceried casements; central open sided gabled porch dated
W.H. square section piers with moulded caps, half-glazed door with
1840 dated lintel. Low porch extension to left with 2-light chamfer
mullioned window containing cast iron latticed casements, right hand
return wall has boarded door to right with bracketed hood. Low
slightly set back granary and dovecote to right, gable end has tallet
steps to boarded door; openings and ledges above leading to gable dove
loft.
