House. C17, altered. Sandstone rubble. Main part of house has roof of
stone slate and is of 2 storeys. At the left it is gabled and has a
window on each floor with plain reveals and a 3rd window at the right
level with the sill of the 1st floor window. Under the apex of the gable
is a re-set stone inscribed: 'TL 1686'. To the right there is a 4-light
double-chamfered mullioned window on the ground floor. To its right is a
window set within a blocked doorway which has a re-cut lintel inscribed:
'HL'. Under the eaves is a window with plain reveals. The left-hand part
of the house, under a slate roof, was formerly a shippon and is of one
storey with attic. It has 2 C20 windows with plain reveals and concrete
lintels. Between them is a doorway. Above it is a re-set datestone: 'GPM
TI 1718'. The attic is lit by a dormer.
