House, early C17 with early C19 addition. Large dressed stone, watershot to C19
addition, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3-room front, quoins at each division of
each. 1st 2 bays have double chamfered mullioned windows to ground floor and
chamfered mullioned to 1st floor; 4-light window with 3-light window over;
inserted doorway with monolithic jambs, single storey porch c. 1984; 5-light
window with 2 of 2 lights over to 1st floor; doorway with monolithic jambs; 4-
light flat faced mullioned window with same over to 1st floor doorway with
monolithic jambs. Rear has 5 bays of 2-light chamfered mullioned windows to
ground floor, one retaining diamond paned leaded lights. 1st floor has 6 bays
of 2-light flat faced mullioned windows. 2 stacks to ridge and one other
capped. Reused stone at rear corner of C19 addition is inscribed "A H"1605
