north of the Orangery.

GV II

Game hanging house: late C19. Wood with lead roof and steel saddle
stones. Octagonal in plan. 6-panelled sections in iron-bound frame,
the top 4 filled with fine metal mesh, the corners raised on steel
saddle stones. A weathered roof with a raised octagonal, central,
ventilator.
Interior: Multitude of hooks for hanging game birds, small mammals
and occasionally venison.
