3 houses, now 3 shops. Mid C18, altered early and mid C19 and
mid and late C20. Stucco with slate roof. First and second
floor lintel bands, coped parapet with 7 blank panels, single
gable stack. 3 storeys; 7 window range. On the first floor, to
left, 2 large 3-light C20 windows, and to their right, 3 plain
sashes. Above, 2 plain sashes to left, 2 glazing bar sashes to
right, and 3 blanks. Below, to left, late C20 marble shopfront
with full-width recess containing 2 showcases. In the centre,
a C19 shopfront, altered late C20, with single pane window to
right and recessed glazed door to left. To right, a good
quality early C19 wooden shopfront with fluted Ionic pilasters
and enriched dentillated cornice. Off-centre recessed glazed
door flanked by different sized single pane windows with
leaded overlights. To its left, a close boarded entry door
with cast iron grille above.
