II

One building, formerly four cottages but Nos 1 & 2 are now one house and Nos 3 & 4 probably are also. Nos 3 & 4 are a C16 timber-framed building with painted brick infilling which has been altered in the early C19, when they were heightened and a modillion eaves cornice added. Nos 1 & 2 were added in the early C19 and are of red brick and grey headers, as is the whole of the back or south wall of all the cottages. Two storeys and five windows to the whole. Slate roof. Casement windows. Two trellised wooden porches, that in Nos 1 & 2 containing a doorway with rectangular fanlight.
