ST 76 NE ST. CATHERINE'S OAKFORD LANE (west side)

Detached house, formerly used as a public house. Early C19. Ashlar with a
slate roof and coped raised verges; ashlar stacks with cornice. 2 storeys and
attics. 3 bays: 16-pane glazing bar sash windows, the central one on the
first floor is blocked; plain band over. Central 6-panel and glazed door under
flat stone hood on brackets. At first floor right is a painted inscription
which reads: "BENJAMIN BLAMAN/BREWER/AND/RETAILER OF BEER/CIDER AND TOBACCO/TO
BE DRUNK ON THE PREMISES".
