GV II

Barn, loose-boxes and lofts; C17 with alterations. Coursed rubble with quoins;
left return coursed squared sandstone. Roof of stone flags at left, corrugated
asbestos at right. 2 storeys, 4 bays. Wood lintels over boarded doors in 2
right bays, with wide-based sloping buttresses between and at right end. Stone
side steps to first-floor boarded door under wood lintel in second bay; chamfered
stone surround to blocked horizontal window at left; second-bay blocked window
behind side steps.Block jambs or quoins to right of first-floor door. 2 square
windows on first floor at right. Interior has some beams chamfered; large
carpenter's marks on many. Roof has wide incurved principals with 2 levels of
collars; clasped purlins on 2 levels; ridge tree on pegged, crossed principals.
