Mid 19th century, single storey, 3 bay brick tollhouse with projecting hexagonal
central bay forming truncated 'T' plan. Projecting bay has narrow observation
windows on 3 lateral facets and doorway with small wooden porch set into the
fourth lateral facet. Roofed in red tile with central brick chimney stack and
string coursing below eaves. The simple rectangular windows have heavy, white
painted, cross hatching.
