House. Late C17 with alterations and additions dated 1787; c.1900 alterations.
Painted rough render with painted plinth and ashlar dressings; stone-tiled roof
with stone gable copings and ashlar and yellow brick chimneys. Main building 2
storeys, 4 windows; left extension 2 storeys, 2 windows. Glazed door in
architrave, under pulvinated frieze and pediment with central date 1787, in
second bay. Similar architraves to C20 tripartite sashes in first bay and over
door, and 16-pane sashes in 2 right bays; left extension has ground-floor c.1900
bow window,with stone-flagged roof, under tripartite and sash windows with
glazing bars, in raised stone surrounds. Main building has corniced ashlar
parapet-on eaves band; end gable copings, kneelers at rear, and 3 ridge
chimneys.

Interior: room to leftofdoor has beam and joists with run-out chamfers;
chamfered Tudor-arched stone chimney-piece, which is reported to have adjacent
stair now concealed in thickness of wall. Shell-canopied corner cupboard,
with panelled lower doors, in right end room. Rear stair renewed c.1900.
