1808. Architect Sir Jeffry Wyatville. Of grey brick with later red brick southern
wing and walls at both sides. White stone dressings. Designed as a Tudor gatehouse
incorporating lodge house. Building and walls crenallated with stone stringcourse
below. Large Tudor carriageway arch with ribbed wooden doors flanked by stone
turrets. Panel under dripstone mould above Gothick arched window. Square tower
separates red brick lodge house. Quoins.
Boundary Oaks School and the Lodge form a group.
