House. C16 or earlier with later additions arid alterations. Timber framed and
plastered. Red plain tiled roots. 2 storey gabled crosswing to left. 1 storey
and attic main range with gabled dormer. Red brick chimney stack to crosswing
and main range. 1 window range of early C19 small paned vertical sliding sashes
to crosswing and 2 C18 small paned horizontal sliding sashes to main range. C19
casement to dormer. Red plain tiled slanting porch with scalloped eaves board.
C20 panelled door with light. Interior contains C16 Inglenook fireplace with
chamfered mantel beam over. Stop chamfered bridging joists. C18 vertical
boarded panelling, boards with beaded edging to hall and other rooms. Stick
balusters to staircase. Raised roof to west bays.
