Garden walls. C18 probably. Red brick, Flemish bond, with Ham stone plinth, copings and piers. West wall about 1.5
metre high, north wall about 2.5 metres high; curved sweeps up to tall piers in mid-length of walls and to smaller
piers flanking path, formerly a gateway, on the axis of the west facade of the house; piers have moulded plinths, Ham
stone ashlar square shafts, frieze band and flat cornice mould tops, lower piers about 2.25 metres high, taller piers
abort 3 metres high, and crowned with stone eagles having unfurled wings. An important element in the setting of
Tintinhull House (q.v), more particularly when related to the garden, itself of special interest and included in the
Register of Parks and Gardens. HBMC, l985 (Grade II).
