5/147 Two Worlock Monuments about
3m south of porch in churchyard
of Church of St Nicholas
GV II

Two chest tombs. Robert Worlock, son of John and Mary, 1733 to
east, and Robert of Comb Farm 1754 to west. Limestone. To east
- stepped tent top with gadrooned cap, moulded plinth and capping,
gadrooned quarter baluster corners. High relief ends and panels
to north side flanking moulded oval panel, and also carving round
base of cap. Plain south side. To west - slightly tented top,
moulded plinth and capping, quarter baluster corners, segmental
ends with relief of cherubs' heads to east, plain to west. Plain
south side, north side has cartouche within eared rectangular
panel.
