Large house, formerly 3, with right part rebuilt. Early-mid C18 left part of 3
storeys, 5 windows. High pitched slated roof. Stock brick with parapet and red
brick dressings. Ground floor finely gauged window arches: but 1st and 2nd floor
arches rebuilt. Sash windows in near-flush box frames. Modern door in panelled
reveal. Included partly for group value.

Nos 235, 237, 239 & 243 form a group with Nos 247 & 249 which are of local interest.
