Late C18/early C19. Painted brick facade. Slate roof with end chimneys. Three storeys. Four windows all with boxed frames and cambered head linings, late C19 glazing to first floor. C19 shop front with cornice, enriched pilasters and moulded architrave. Centre door, moulded window frames. South side has large segmental arched entrance to rear.
Nos 37 and 37A form a group with Nos 10 to 18 (even) and the White Lion Public House.
