Terrace house. Late C18. Brown brick with stuccoed ground floor, concealed slate
roof. 4 storeys, 3 windows wide. Mid C20 shop front but house doorway remains
to left with Doric pilasters, dosserets and open pediment over semicircular fanlight.
Upper floors have recessed glazing bar sashes under stucco voussoirs and keyed flat
arches. Parapet with coping. Plaque commemorates residence (1804-20) of the
poet and painter William Blake.
