Cowhouse about 30 meters east of Walled garden complex at Betteshanger Park

Cowhouse. Late C19. Timber framed and weather boarded with plain tile roof. F-shaped
plan. One storey with central gabled cross-range with attic, with projecting wing at
north-west, and smaller projecting gables at south end. The whole long low range with
irregular wooden casements, 10 in all on east side and wooden casements and half-doors
on west elevation, with loft windows in central gable. Interior fitted as C20 cowhouse
with original roof structure of large queen post trusses. Included for group value.
