House. Dated IM 1654 on tablet re-set in left dormer. Another tablet in right
dormer, dated GHC 1984, records refurbishing of building. Coursed limestone
rubble, C20 reconstituted stone slate roof on raised eaves, coped gables with
ashlar chimneys. Right chimney rebuilt C20; left chimney has moulded cornices to
base and shaft. One storey and attic, 2 bays. Ground floor has original 3-light
windows with ovolo-moulded stone mullions and casement cornices. Attic has C20
gabled eaves-line dormers with paired wooden casements. Central C20 door with
wooden lintel. Left gable has semi-circular domed oven projection and C20
casement in blocked doorway with wooden lintel. Shallow C20 rear extension with
wide gable.
