Large terraced town house. 1895-1900 by J. Harold Cooper. Portland
ashlar faced, with slate roof. Art and Crafts spare Jacobethan.
5 storeys and part attic. Broad 3 window wide front but exceptional
height and gable emphasise the verticals and the symmetry. Tall off
centre arched doorway with side light, other ground floor windows
altered. All upper floor windows mullioned and transomed. Canted
oriel through 2nd and 3rd floors. One large and one small gable
with saddlestones; weathered parapet coping. 2 "dragon" rainwater
heads and downpipes designed in the best original Arts and Crafts
manner.
