Nos 1 and 2 form a single block with a continuous roof line. Two storeys and attics. Three window range, double-hung sashes with glazing bars, in flush cased frames. A central doorway has a doorcase with pilasters, frieze and cornice. A raised brick band runs between the storeys. Gabled wings extend at the rear (one is modern). Roof tiled, with three gabled dormers to the whole block.

Nos 1 to 3 (consec) with Nos 9 and 12 Lodge Road form a group.
