A c18 timber-framed and plastered house with some weatherboarding. Altered and
added to in the C19 and C20. 2 storeys and attics. 3 window range, double-hung
sashes with vertical glazing bars. The Ground storey has a C20 shop front at
the south end and a C19 canted bay at the north end. There is a doorway with
a semi circular fanlight with ornamental glazing and an open dentilled pediment.
Roof tiled, half hipped at the south end, with 3 hipped dormers. Nos 4 and 5
form a continuous frontage.

All the listed buildings in St John's Green form a group.
