4/33 Vine Lodge

GV II

House. Dated 1716, altered late C19. Red brick painted on return
elevations and plain tiled roof. Two storeys on plinth with discontinuous
plat band and hipped roof with stacks to rear left and to rear right.
Regular fenestration of 3 sashes on first floor and 2 on ground floor all
with painted heads. Central door of 6 panels with rectangular fanlight.
Brick to right of door inscribed: HS 1716. Interior: round backed
inglenook and simple panelled doors; neo-classical fire surround in rear.
The rear wing, the windows and the roof all altered C19.
