House. C17 or earlier rear wing, with later alterations and additions including
C18/C19 details to front range. Timber framed and plastered. Red plain tiled
roofs. Rear and left external red brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys. 4 window.
range of various small paned vertically sliding sashes including 3 tripartite
first floor windows and 2 bays to ground floor, one with brackets to cornice the
other with moulded and dentilled cornice. Enclosed gabled porch, 2 panel 2
light door, moulded surround, moulded label over. Rear with heavy chamfered
bridging joist and some exposed timber, flag stone floor. One of the manors of
Southminster.
