TL 1442 SOUTHILL HIGH STREET (South Side)

Southill Estate cottage, with shop in one ground floor room. Plaque: "S W
1815", but is probably reworking of an earlier building. Colourwashed
roughcast render over timber frame. Clay tile roof. 2-room block to W, with
cross-wing to E end. One storey and attics. Various later single-storey
additions to E and rear. E gable has 3-light window lighting shop, with
round-headed leaded casement window to attic. 2-light leaded casement window
to W block: Plank door to E block. W block has 6 flush panel door with
gabled hood on cut brackets. One red brick ridge stack to W block.
