Wenden Hall comprises part of a C15 two-bay hall house on the east end and
an C18 block on the west. Mostly timber-framed and plastered but with some
plastered brick, and brick plinths. Renovated and restored in the C20.
The east wing is one storey and attics and the west block is 2 storeys and
attics. The windows are mostly 3-light double-hung sashes with glazing
bars and narrow side lights. Roofs tiled, with one gabled dormer to the
east wing on the north front and 2 gabled dormers on the south front. The
west block has 2 hipped dormers on the north front. The interior has exposed
timber-framing in the east wing and there is a crown post roof. (RCHM 2).
