Timber-framed house of C16-C17 origin faced in red brick in the C18 and
with a C19 block added to the west end. Two storeys. The earlier wing
has mainly C20 casement windows. The early-mid C19 block at the west end
has corner pilasters. The west front has 3 window range and there is one
window range at the north and south ends, double-hung sashes with glazing
bars, in plain reveals. There is a central doorway with a portico with
panelled pillars. Roofs tiled. The interior of the original wing has exposed
timber-framing, ceiling beams and joists.
