House. C16 with later additions and alterations. Timber framed on brick
and sandstone plinth, plastered infilling, plain tiled roofs, H plan,
baffle entry. 3 storeys; 3 bays, recessed in centre with 2 slightly
projecting jettied cross wings supported on carved decorated brackets;
close studding and short tension braces, concave lozenges and semi-
circular decoration to top floor; 4 light wooden mullion windows to the
gables and above the central C19 entrance porch; other windows all C19
and C20 casements; prominent central red brick stack with 4 shafts.
