Pair Houses. C19. No 53 local stone ashlar, No 55 cut and squared local stone with ashlar dressings; continuous Welsh slate roof with abutment and plain gables; brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 5 bays. of which No 53 occupies bays 1 and 2. Plinthed; No 55 has toothed quoins: door to No 53 in panelled flat headed recess, with rectangular fanlight; above 12-pane sash window in plain opening; 2-storey bay window to bay 2, with 4+12+4 pane sashes, the glazing bars removed from lower window, under lead flat roof: No 55 has toothed and keystoned surrounds to all openings, with 12-pane sash windows above and plain windows to outer bays below: central part-glazed door with rectangular fanlight. Interior not seen.
