House C16 timber-framed and painted brick on rubble stone plinth. Plain tile roofs.
2 storey, T plan. Cross range to West side, gabled to North and South, upper floor of
each gable is jettied. Ground floor is close studded while gables have decorative
diagonal timbering. Each gable has ground floor timber oriel of 4-lights with
mullions and transom, 1st floor 4-light mullion and transom window and 2-light attic
window. West front has one large window. Wing has C16 timber porch inscribed
and with crude C17 wooden Ionic half columns attached. Heavy plank door. 4-light
ground floor window, various upper windows. East gable end has tension bracing.
Timber-framed outshut on South side and one dormer above. Large stack in angle to
cross range. All windows have leaded lights. Moat survives.
