Inn. 1720 datestone, but possibly earlier core, C20 refronting. Rendered and colourwashed; Welsh slate roof with
abutment to East, hip to West; Brick chimney stacks. 3 storeys, 6 bays, of which bay 6 projects slightly. Late pattern
sash windows in plain openings to first and second floors bays 1 to 5; 16 pane sash window flanked by two 8-pane sashes
to bay 1 ground floor, then double doors with plain fanlight set in segmental arch with mid C20 metal canopy over; sash
windows in plain openings bays 3 to 5: bay 6 has tall and wide semi-circular carriage arch having plinth, rusticated
surround with impost blocks and triple keystone; above this a composite sash window at mezzanine level. Between bays 3
and 4 at second floor level an oval plaque in rectangular recess with date 1720. Public rooms inside have considerable
remnants of timber frame which could be earlier than 1720: remainder of interior not seen.
