C1600 small barn/byre, timber-framed and weatherboarded. 5 bays. Hipped slated roof.
Later centre cart entrance with lean-to roof on south and gable on north.

Jowled storey posts with long carved arched braces to tie-beams. Curved wall bracing
in each bay. Roof rafters reduced in two places to accommodate side purlins, with wind
bracing and short collars. Tiny "gablet" at one end concealed by later cladding.
Unusually proportioned and detailed structure for this date. Scarf joints are halved
and bridled.
